This organization search and find groups of people that help children around the world. As they find groups they team up and form partnerships and invest their time and money to help change lives. Their goal is to help children grow.
This organization help and support children around the world. They provide children with a healthy start and teach them how to protect themselves. They believe that every child should have a bright future.
I chosen to do my research on Harlem Children’s Zone. I pick this organization because I never heard of this organization and I’m eager to learn something new. The Harlem Children’s Zone believes that the success of the children and the community goes hand in hand. They believe that in order to break the cycle of generational poverty we must work alongside of the community and give these children the opportunity to make their dreams come true.

I like the fact that the Harlem Children's zone makes sure that the children's academic,social,and health needs are met.They keep track of children's educational progress in their early childhood years and while in college in order to see what they can do to help them succeed in life.
ReplyDeleteThis organization is the epitome of the saying "It takes a village to raise a child." Education has become more than just a part of a child's life; it IS the child's life. Children spend a majority of their day in school so it is necessary for the services to be wraparound services.
ReplyDeleteI also chose to The Global Fund for Children. I picked this organisation because they are a support for local initiatives for children all around the world. Apart from the funds they provide, they empower these smaller organisations so that they can function on their own without interference or being dependent on the larger organisation

ReplyDeleteThe Harlem Children's Zone sounds instrumental on so many levels. I love the grounds of the community in which children are given to stand. It is there, the community, you state, that generational poverty curses are broken and children are given opportunities for their dreams come true.
